that's a wrap

 

This was a gift for a new mom who also happens to be one of our neighbors!  I love the quote
"Mothers of Little Boys Work from Son Up to Son Down"  and since she had a little boy, and is probably not getting very much sleep, I got her some coffee....

 

And for the baby I got a little board book about going to bed and some new pajamas.  I used some chalkboard gift tags and stuck it all in her mailbox.

I have also used this quote attached to a coffee gift card for a new mom.

This was a birthday gift for a friend.  I made her some homemade chocolate chip scones that she had pinned on her Pinterest wall.  I packaged them in a bakery box with some twine, and gave her a Kate Spade coffee mug to go with it.  The box that the mug came in was so pretty I decided not to wrap it, I just tied some stripped ribbon around it instead.  I attatched the quote: "Mothers are those wonderful people who can get up in the morning before the smell of coffee" to the top and it was ready to go.  This would be a fun idea to use for Mother's Day too!

I love to wrap gift cards in clear pillow boxes.  I usually fill them with candy or gumballs. This was for coffee so I used coffee beans instead and wrote "thanks for bean so nice".
